About the Gus’s Community Market website
Family owned and operated since 1981, Gus’s Community Market has provided locally sourced produce, neighborly service and fresh catering options to San Francisco neighborhoods for more than 40 years. The Vardakastanis family’s marketplaces include Mission Bay Market, Mission Market, Haight Street Market, Noriega Market, and Canyon Market (acquired December 2022).
In fall 2023 Razorfrog launched a refresh of our previous site iteration for Gus’s. The latest version is WCAG conformant to provide an accessible user experience and features an entirely new catering portal. Gus’s farm-to-table color palette and vibrant imagery communicate a friendly, community-oriented marketplace that honors the family’s heritage and legacy.
Visitors may browse current specials, order groceries for delivery via Instacart, view Gus’s deli and cafe takeout menus and delivery options, and apply for market jobs directly on-site. Gus’s merch and gift cards are also available for purchase. We recommend visiting Gus’s catering portal prior to the holidays to pre-order your favorite selections and discover what makes Gus’s one of the Bay Area’s “best of” marketplace establishments.
