The John Stewart Company

The John Stewart Company (JSCo) is a full-service housing management, development and consulting organization with a long history of creating and managing affordable and mixed-income communities throughout California. Founded in 1978, JSCo has grown to manage more than 280 properties and 30,000 residential units serving over 100,000 residents across the state.

Razorfrog originally designed and launched JSCo’s website in 2014. In 2026, we completely redesigned and relaunched the site, preserving the company’s established brand colors while introducing a cleaner, more modern visual system and a significantly improved content structure. The new WordPress website was designed to better reflect the scale of the organization and make its wide range of services, resources and property information easier to navigate.

A major focus of the redesign was modernizing the way JSCo’s extensive property portfolio is presented. Improved organization, search and filtering make it easier for visitors to find communities based on their needs, while a flexible content structure allows the JSCo team to efficiently manage hundreds of property listings. Over the years, Razorfrog has also designed and continues to manage websites for many of JSCo’s individual properties. The result is a responsive, streamlined website that better serves prospective residents, property partners and the organization’s broader management and development work.
