The flowers are blooming and the skies are blue. Hello Spring and California sunshine!

The Good Word At Razorfrog

We’ve been keeping busy here at our office in downtown San Francisco. Alongside rising temperatures and bringing out the shorts and t-shirts, we have few new projects we’d love to share with you.

Our team has been working hard to provide superior customer service and produce beautiful, user friendly websites. Recently, we’ve launched several new projects to connect with audiences near and far.

New Portfolio Additions

This season, we welcome three talented companies to the Razorfrog family: The John Stewart Company, The Pawington, and Nomad Rugs.

The John Stewart Company – a renowned California property management company – needed to import over 300 properties to their new website, which now features listings by both city, region, and type of housing.

The Pawington recently opened its doors in late April and is the Bay Area’s newest full-service pet resort, located one mile north of the San Francisco International Airport.

Nomad Rugs, a longtime seller of fine Persian rugs in Noe Valley, updated their eCommerce site to WooCommerce for a brand new responsive shopping experience with an emphasis on high-quality product images.

Be sure to check out our Yelp page for our most recent 5-star reviews and an updated gallery of our latest work. We’re here for you and we absolutely love creating beautiful websites for the Bay Area’s emerging businesses.

WordPress 3.9 – It’s Simply Amazing

We’re proud to continue proclaiming our steadfast love and support for our favorite CMS (Content Management System). The newest major release of WordPress, version 3.9, was released just over a month ago on April 16th with exciting new features we can’t help but share!

The following is a taste of the latest features available in 3.9. Our favorites changes improve upon on how content is added and manipulated in the visual editor for posts and pages, creating a more streamlined and easy-to-use user experience.

With this update, content copied over from outside documents (such as Microsoft Word) is stripped of all formatting when placed in the visual editor, making for cleaner, simpler copy placement. Users can now drag and drop photos directly into a post — no need to upload to the media library first. Making image edits on the fly is also easier than ever by simply cropping and trimming images directly in the visual editor. Galleries now appear in the visual editor without a placeholder image showing. And let’s not forget about audio and video playlists. They’re now simpler than ever to upload and stream directly from your server.

The Best is Yet To Come

Talk about some great new features for our amazing clients! At Razorfrog, we’re committed to keeping on top of your site’s security updates to provide the best possible user experience. We look forward to seeing what the future has to bring for WordPress and its growing community, as we can assure you there are only many more great things to come down the road.

Wordcamp San Francisco 2014 is scheduled for October 25-26, and we plan on being there to celebrate the best CMS in the world. We’ll share many more details about this exceptional conference of enthusiasm and innovation soon.

Thanks for dropping by!
