Websites and apps for radio stations.
Radio listeners expect a live stream that works, an accurate now-playing display, an up-to-date schedule and an app for their phone. Razorfrog designs and builds websites, stream players and native apps for radio stations of every size. Our experience includes college and community radio stations and nonprofit radio organizations, starting with KZSC at UC Santa Cruz in 2010. Today we support station websites, the Spinitron Player plugin and native apps for stations in California and Colorado.

What radio station websites and apps need
Stations need tools that keep working when the people who set them up graduate or move on.
- A live stream player that works on phones, tablets and desktops, with high and low quality streams.
- Now-playing and playlist data from Spinitron, shown on the website with our free Spinitron Player WordPress plugin.
- Show schedules, DJ pages and on-demand archives that volunteers can update without help.
- Native apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and CarPlay, so listeners can tune in from their phone or car.
- Pages for events, underwriting and donations that support the station’s fundraising.
- WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, which stations run by public colleges may need under the ADA Title II rule by 2027 or 2028.
Building native apps for college radio: KZSC, KSJS and KVCU
We built one streaming platform for college radio and used it to give KZSC, KSJS and KVCU at CU Boulder their own native apps, with live streams, show schedules, archives and CarPlay.
